Why purchase a home?

Owning a home makes sense for a variety of reasons, both financial and emotional.

And while the financial reasons are compelling, as we shall see in the following sections, the emotional reasons are pretty important too.

Your home is your family’s sanctuary, a place where everyone can feel safe and secure. Where children can grow up and parents can watch them do so. A place for friends to gather, for families to prosper and for storms to be weathered.

And most important, when you BUY a home, you OWN an important asset.

It’s yours. To paint and decorate as you please. To enjoy, live in and call your own.

There are many quantifiable reasons to own a home.

But some of the best ones aren’t.
